My Story
I work with high-achieving individuals who look like they have it all together — but internally feel anxious, overwhelmed, or constantly "on." If that sounds familiar, you're in the right place. I'm based in Scarborough, Toronto, Ontario, and I offer virtual sessions to clients across Ontario, with coaching available worldwide.
Navigating those transitions taught me firsthand what it feels like to carry pressure, manage expectations, and figure things out without always having a clear roadmap.
Like many of my clients, I've experienced periods of anxiety, overthinking, and the pressure to stay "high-functioning" even when things felt heavy underneath. I also grew up in a culture where therapy wasn't openly talked about — so being introduced to counseling at a young age was both unfamiliar and transformative. It gave me language for my inner world in a way I'd never experienced before.
That perspective shapes how I show up in every session. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical — real, honest conversations that help you understand your patterns, regulate your emotions, and build a life that feels more grounded and aligned.
This isn't about "fixing" you. It's about helping you feel more like yourself again — without the constant mental noise.
When I'm not in session, you can find me on Mind Talks with Sanjhi — my mental health education platform where I break down complex topics into real, accessible conversations for everyday people.

Coaching is a collaborative, personalized process — one that honours where you've been while helping you move toward where you want to go. We explore your patterns, clarify what matters most, and build practical strategies that fit your real life. Every coaching journey is different, which is why I don't believe in one-size-fits-all packages.
📍 Coaching is available to clients worldwide. For Ontario-based clients, psychotherapy is also available — see all services →
Areas I work with
How I Work
I blend neuroscience, evidence-based therapy, and real human conversation. No scripts. No buzzwords. Just thoughtful, personalized support that actually moves the needle.
No agenda, no assumptions. The first step is understanding where you are — fully and without judgment.
Together we identify what's keeping you stuck — a thought loop, a relationship dynamic, or a decision you can't seem to make.
We don't just talk about change — we work toward it, with tools and insights you'll carry long after our work is done.

@MindTalksWithSanjhiCommon Questions
No question is too small. Here are some of the things I hear most often — and if yours isn't here, just ask.
Therapy (counseling) explores the deeper roots of how you think, feel, and relate — it's often the right fit when you're dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or long-standing patterns. Coaching is more forward-focused: it's about clarity, momentum, and building practical strategies for where you want to go. Many people benefit from both at different times — or even together. We can figure out what fits best in a free consult.
Not at all. Most of my clients don't arrive with a diagnosis — they arrive with a feeling. Overwhelmed. Stuck. Like they're running on empty. You don't need a label to deserve support.
Yes — all services are currently delivered virtually, from the comfort of your own location. There are no in-person sessions at this time. If that changes, this page will be updated. For clients in Ontario, Canada, I offer both psychotherapy and coaching. For clients outside Ontario, I offer coaching services only — please review the coaching section for details on what's available to you.
The best way to find out is a free consultation — and I want to be clear about what that space is. It's not a therapy session. It's completely dedicated to understanding whether we're a good fit for each other. Feel free to ask me anything, share what feels comfortable, and get a genuine sense of how I work. There's no pressure and no commitment — just an honest conversation to see if this feels right for you.
Yes — deeply personally. I grew up navigating that exact tension. A lot of my clients are first-generation immigrants, South Asian, East African, or from communities where mental health was either stigmatized or simply never discussed. You won't need to explain that context to me. I already get it.
For psychotherapy sessions in Ontario, I provide receipts for insurance reimbursement. Many clients are able to claim psychotherapy through their extended health benefits — it's worth checking your plan, as coverage for Registered Psychotherapists is increasingly common. I do not direct bill at this time, but the receipt I provide can be submitted directly to your insurance provider.
Anxiety, overthinking, depression, burnout, ADHD, self-esteem, body image, life transitions, career stress, cultural identity, and relationship patterns. Not sure if your situation fits? Please don't hesitate to reach out and schedule a free consultation — I'm happy to review your concerns together and come up with a plan that best fits your needs. If I'm not the right fit, I'll do my best to assist you with referrals within the community.
Ready When You Are
